In the March board meeting resident Gary Schellhorn had asked if the board would be interested in vacating the alley that is between the 400 block of Adams St and Jefferson St. The board discussed and talked with the other residents who share the alley and have decided at this time they do not want to vacate the alley.
Johnson Services came and ran their camera down the sewer line at Highway 41 and SW 100th Road. Starting at the manhole at Hwy 41/SW 100th Rd intersection, going 158ft South they found a section of pipe that had been damaged, which appeared to be a cut out. This would confirm NextLink also bored into the sewer line when they hit the water main. They also ran the camera East down Highway 41 and then South to the lift station. All the pipe this way looked clean and undamaged. Sarah will make an appointment with Johnson to get the section of pipe repaired. It was also suggested that Johnson jets out/cleans the sewer lines. Sarah will also make an appointment with Johnson to clean out half of town and then next year clean the other half.
